To everyone whose heart and mind are living in the search of –

“New Millennium” – what it will be?

This question has established forward and we together with you of our own accord are just in the activity of implementing the task; to make the forthcoming more perfect and corresponding the mutual peoples relations and their attitude towards the environmental world – to such best qualities on account of which we are accepted as humans – now, when until the change of millenniums has stay only an INSTANT, straining ourselves and mobilizing the whole mankind we ought to make this instant becomes as the TURNING POINT in consciousness of people.

The world with poverty, luxury and its contradictions is approaching a new millennium , enormous wealth, both spiritual and material, have not made us happy;

The history finds itself now at the crossroads, it will either:

• to continue a spontaneous evolutionary movements into the unknown , with all its surprises and sophisticated variations; confrontations, arms race, fight for spheres of interests etc;

• or it make historical turn towards the everlasting dreams of the people – creation a global society living in harmony, that could happen in this epoch of the leaders with visions and the nations who realize the necessity of such turn.

On the threshold of a new millennium it’s time to comprehend; what we were, what we became, where we are moving;

Now we have a chance not only to discuss about all these questions, but to bring to everyone’s notice and industriously work over salvation of these problems.

Dear friend! If you get interested, we invite you to the Forum among non- government organizations (NGO), which are engaged with a new Millennium’s problems.

The Forum objectives: “How to solve the problems which are standing at the face of humanity, on the threshold of a new millennium.

The forum participants:

In the Forum may participate all interested sides from any country, who are engaged in salvation of problems, standing on the Forum’s agenda, though NGO are preferred.

a). Outstanding public figures and representatives of those organizations, engaged in salvation of the same problems, from the worldwide countries, embassies and international organizations have been accredited in Kazakhstan.

b). NGO of Japan, India, KPDR, China, USA, South Korea, Russia and from other countries.

• As participants:

NGO of Azerbaijan, Armenia, Afghanistan, Georgia, Iran, Iraq, Kazakhstan, Kyrgistan, Mongolia, Pakistan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Turkey, Uzbekistan.

The Forum is a part of a global activities by arranging the UN Millenniums Assembly, scheduled to year 2000.

By the Forum results is expected adoption of the below listed documents:

• NGO General Declaration of participating countries – “TRANSFORMATION” The principal document of millenniums which have passed and those aimed at the future: reflecting our spiritual world, evaluation of the past and the vision for the future, showing - what we were, who we became, where we are going, including suggestion concerning of the possible ways by transformation of predominated relations on Earth;

• Election of delegates to the NGOs "Millennium" Forum under the UN, planned on May of year 2000 at Headquarters of the UN in New York.

• Creation secular coordinating committee among participating sides.

Final documents will be submitted to the UN for using in the arrangement of the “MILLENNIUM ASSEMBLY”.

The Forum Schedule:

July 21

Inauguration of the Forum, greeting speeches of the UN representative and official power of the republic of Kazakhstan – the Forum giving country, the main report, reports of the Forum guests, co – reports, TV – bridge Almaty – San-Francisco with the participants of the UN's Youth Assembly, World Children Summit.

July 22

Work in sections by: Social (especially concerning human rights, humanity), Environmental, Economic, Cultural, Political, and Military relations problems.

July 23

A Plenary meeting:

Adoption of the final documents.

Solemn close of the Forum under the World Hymn tunes.

In the program is stipulated a global news and video conferences, cultural measures.

The Forum organizers: International Initiative Committee “World Transformation”, with participation of NGO Forum’s executive committee “The Millenniums” under the UN.

Accommodation: Participants will be accommodated in a single or double rooms of the hotel “Kazahstan” - 20-th century masterpiece of kazakhstan's architecture. Room rates per 4 days are vary between 60, 150, 200, 250 $, (prices include breakfast, dinner and supper). Cost of room depends on its level. Transfer money for chosen level to the below stated bank account and inform us or admitif if you take money yourself, please .

MEETING and SEEING – OFF

There will be arranged meeting and seeing – off in Almaty airport and railway stations of participants; return fares are possible in the case of advance order.

Arrival, departure, nourishment, residency at participants expense. The rest of expenditures are paid by accepting side.

It must be in printed form, within 2 –3 pages, in Russian or English. In any case, participants standpoint will have been taken into consideration in working over the final documents of the Forum.

Time – limit for reporters no longer than 5 minutes.
